I just realized how 4 out of 5 villains on True Blood fulfill stereotypes of women being evil… Either they are young, dark-haired, and beautiful (Salome, Maryann, Bill’s maker whose name I can’t remember) or they are older “hag”-type women (Marnie… although I think she is absolutely beautiful, she definitely fills this role).

I think there are about as many male antagonists though (Rene, Steve Newlin, Russell, Roman, recently Bill, Franklin, Warlow, etc).  Though pretty much all the characters are morally gray.
