TOP 10 TV SHOW THEMES
#4 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

From the eerie opening organ notes to the in-your-face electric guitar solo, this rock anthem is easily one of the most recognizable tv show theme songs in pop culture history.  Originally, the show’s staff hired a few famous theme song composers to come up with a theme, but they weren’t impressed and instead asked a few local bands to contribute.  In the end, Joss Whedon chose this theme song that a punk rock band called Nerf Herder submitted.  The rest is history.
